🏁 MRP ANNOUNCES OPEN TIRE PROGRAM FOR 2027 🏁

As we continue building the future of Marysville Raceway Park, we want to keep racers informed about the direction we are taking for the 2027 season and beyond.

After extensive conversations with racers, teams, manufacturers, dealers, and industry professionals, MRP has decided not to enter into an exclusive tire agreement with any single tire manufacturer for 2027.

Instead, MRP plans to implement an Open Tire Program utilizing approved tires from multiple major manufacturers.

Our goal is simple:

🏁 Give racers more choices.

🏁 Encourage participation.

🏁 Reduce unnecessary barriers to entry.

🏁 Allow teams to race on the tire brand they are most comfortable with.

🏁 Maintain fair and competitive racing.

As part of our 2027 rule packages, MRP will publish specific approved tire numbers and compounds from participating manufacturers, including Hoosier, American Racer, WEDG, and other qualified manufacturers as they become available.

The approved tire list will be developed with one objective in mind:

Creating a level playing field while providing racers with flexibility and freedom of choice.

This decision reflects a larger philosophy that will help guide MRP moving forward.

We believe grassroots racing grows when racers have options.

We believe innovation comes from competition.

And we believe the best decisions are made by listening to the racers who support our sport every week.

The future of MRP is not about exclusive contracts.

The future of MRP is about creating opportunities for racers, teams, sponsors, manufacturers, and fans alike.

Additional class-specific tire rules and approved tire numbers will be released as our 2027 rules packages are finalized.
