It is Sunday, August 30, and the summer schedule is done, as we going into tomorrow I go back to most of my high schoolers going driving after school (of course) with a few that can do morning doing that. The schedule is a bit full after but I got am time available for those who can do that. I have a few call-backs I need to make, if I do not reach to you please return a call to me and with can talk about your needs. I will try to work-in folks to my schedule the best I can.
I have had a very full summer and wish to thank anyone I worked. I am looking a few days off here around the 23th of September until the 26th. Hopefully I will be all caught up with the people are looking for sometime in the car.

Getting to ready start the last full week of July and it is booked, next week as we start the month of August, I got some time open(not alot) and as we head into the month before school opens, the practices will start and the needs of the kids will also change and my schedule does also, so starting here in about 2 weeks I will be doing some evening to help these students with getting their Driver's education done, still looking for that daytime person but working it out, With school starting within a month. I have September duties already planned with a face to face classroom at HARMONY HIGH SCHOOL taking up a time three days a week, after school, so with that September is going to be tight with opening. Wow, is it hot outside, and with that idea in your head, got two things to talk about, first, I got some car issues, the AC pump compressor is going bad so I need to not schedule anyone until after Wednesday, July 8, that's went it goes to the dealership for the repairs(hopefully). I will be making those calls,
Second, Looking for something for your 15-18 to do and learn over the summer, We offer a State approved online Driver's education course, this the 30 hour program which can be coupled with the 6 hour behind the wheel for the insurance discounts and readying them for their PA Driver's exam. Good Friday to all, Here is a second post in a series of posts going into the summer, todays subject is scheduling over the summer time. Yes, we do drive and schedule thought-out the summer but with we do have time set aside for vacations like most you, but vacation happens when I see a gaps happening. So when do I drive, mostly trying to keep it to a business day schedule, etc. 9 to 5 as much as it can, It is pretty easy the months of June and July but August can start to get interesting because those fall sports start those practices.
How much do I work? . For the most part, I do like to spread out the work, not 8 hours one day anything the next.
Pickup and drop off.. The high school contract Students, mostly at their home schools, sometimes at a point arranged with the family, Others types, it all on what is going on the that days schedule,

A busy Tuesday on tap for me here, first not one but young ladies to the DMV for their driver's test, then four hours of in-car instruction (two-two hours time slots). Wish me luck!!

Good Day! Richard here, I am going to put out over the next week a few posts about what is going here at CDS. So the first in this series is going to be about the 30 hour online class, some numbers and how I see it continuing, back story, The online course that is offered is a PA certified course (with the six hours of behind the wheel) that meets the requirements for insurance discounting for the under 21 's years of age. We started to offer this option for class due to the student's need of flexibility of schedule, it was a hard decision to make to go away from the face-to-face classes of the past, but it has worked and now we are very happy with it. Since starting this online program, we have had 233 students sign up and complete or who are working on it. Are first sign-up being back in February of 2023 and the students are from the area and be on. And of the 233, 95 have completed the behind the wheel (which will be another post). And then the 6 hours behind the wheel is done someplace in the future when the student is ready for it.
