This weekend, Erik and I traded the shop for a trip to New Bern to cheer on his brother, Derek, as he rode in Bike MS.

Derek was diagnosed with MS in 2017 at just 37 years old. Since then, he has turned that diagnosis into determination—riding to raise awareness, fund critical research and support others living with MS.

We’re incredibly proud of him and so grateful we got to be there for such a meaningful weekend. These are the moments that remind us just how powerful family, community and a whole lot of heart can be.

If you’d like to support Derek and help move us closer to a world free of MS, you can donate here:

Way to go, Derek! We love you and are cheering you on every day.
