Customer Service Invoicing Specialist

American Fleet Services is seeking a self-starting, take-charge individual for our growing Service Invoicing Team. This position requires extreme knowledge and good judgment experience to maintain a profitable Service Center. It also requires independent problem solving skills and organizational skills.
The most important characteristic of our new Service Invoicing Specialist is that he or she shares the ALL IN attitude that makes American Fleet Services the premier “business class” commercial vehicle service center in Northeast Ohio.

Service Advisor Job Duties:
· Review labor & parts profit margin guidelines for all invoices.
· Review technician’s repair time & credited hours.
· Review customer parts & labor pricing agreements for all invoices.
· Consult Customer Service Manager on technician time discrepancies and/or customer pricing discrepancies.
· Review customer billing requirements for all invoices and update as required.
· Submit final invoice to customer per their specific billing instructions.
· Submit internal invoices to accounting department.
· Compose and update all necessary reports for internal and client use
· Act as liaison between insurance companies and our clients on collision claim billing.
· Facilitate assistance to Accounts Receivable team with any invoicing issues presented by the customer.
· Assure purchase order requirements are met per each customer’s criteria.
· Participate in the development and documentation of Standard Operating Procedures as required.
· Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as, weekly work plan, monthly analysis reports, etc.
· Understand the terminology of business class commercial vehicle fleet business and keep abreast of technology changes.
· Follow the Company Code of Business Ethics and Conduct as outlined in the AFS Employee Handbook,
· Maintain a professional appearance and neat and orderly work area in accordance with company policies.
· Attend pertinent training upon request.
· Attend company meetings as required.
· Perform other duties as requested.
Service Invoicing Specialist Skills and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess an upbeat, professional attitude. You must have the desire to work as part of a team to reach company objectives and the ambition to succeed and grow with the company. The role demands that you be a self-starter who works work well under minimal supervision after the initial training period.
Additional requirements include:
· Mathematical skills needed to understand profit margins and billing hours.
· High level of computer literacy and the ability to adapt to new software programs.
· Unquestionable ethical approach to business dealings.
· Strong customer-focused attitude.
· Excellent follow-up skills.
· Superior communication both oral and written, telephone, email and organizational skills are a must.
· Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and Spreadsheets is mandatory!
· All applicants must pass pre-employment testing to include background checks in order to qualify for employment.
