WELCOME TO THE NHRA WEST CENTRAL DIVISION 5 FAMILY, Cordova Dragway

We’re excited to officially welcome historic Cordova Dragway to the NHRA Member Track Network as part of the West Central Division!

With more than 70 years of drag racing history and home to the legendary O’Reilly World Series of Drag Racing, Cordova Dragway is adding another exciting chapter to its history!

Even bigger news for 2027! Cordova Dragway will host TWO major NHRA events:

🏆 NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series – Part of the inaugural Sportsman Grand Nationals

🏆 NHRA Summit Racing Equipment E.T. Series Finals presented by Hoosier Racing Tire

The 2026 High & Mighty Jeg’s Allstars Team had a great run in Dallas at the Stampede of Speed, battling the best Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series competitors from around the country. Each of our team members represented the West Central Division as true champions, and even though we may not have reached our ultimate goal, we are immensely proud of each and every one of our racers.

We would like to give a special shout-out to your 2026 Jeg’s Allstars Top Sportsman Champion, Mike Chitty. Not only did he come out on top of an insanely packed field, but he did so after thrashing to change motors between first and second round. That “never give up attitude” embodies the true spirit of Division 5 and our amazing racers.

Overall, D5 finished in 4th place in the Team Championship. Despite 2026 not being our year, we will be locked and loaded for 2027, with our eyes set on bringing the trophy back to the West Central!

JEGS Allstars points after Round 1 at the Texas NHRA FallNationals. Unofficial, through Round 1.

North Central and South Central lead the divisions with 400 points each, with Southeast next at 300. East leads the regions with 300.

Round 1 is in the books and the semifinal ladders are set for Alcohol Dragster, Alcohol Funny Car, Super Stock, Stock Eliminator, Super Comp, Super Gas and Super Street. Swipe through for every pairing.

Top Dragster, Comp and Top Sportsman run their JEGS Allstars eliminations tomorrow, Saturday, Oct. 17, so the points will change after those rounds.
