We are incredibly pleased with our first year of Crown Vic racing at Indee. We are having a lot of conversations about new cars being built. We are serious about keeping the integrity of the rules and keep the class honest and affordable. We are in the process of creating four specific tech tools to help us keep the integrity of the class. We have also invested in technology to scan electronics (as many are aware with our collection of data late in the 2026 season). Bottom line is to keep within the rules and allow the class to grow. We will offer advice to neighboring tracks as well to help keep the rules and enforcement consistent in the area. The attached tech sheet should give you a good idea of what we will be looking at.

(IMCA Sport Compacts: we are working on creating more tools to keep your class in check
As well. Stay tuned.)

Build them right.

The Independence Motor Speedway (Mike & Dana) want to congratulate Kollin Hibdon and Joren Fisher for becoming IMCA Super Nationals Champions. Kollin won the IMCA Modifeds Big Dance and Joren won the Hobby Stock Race of Champions. We have some of the best drivers in the Midwest and we congratulate all of our drivers who made the show. Independence is known to have the toughest IMCA Modifed drivers in the state weekly. Congrats drivers and teams.

Season Championships are CANCELLED

A lot of factors into this early decision. The biggest issue is that we have had no days possible to rework the track from last week with either rain or not enough drying hours to get on the track. That leaves us very nervous attempting to get a track worthy of a season championship. In addition to that, you can see the current conditions. We have a forecast of additional showers overnight and humidity ranging in the mid 90’s during the day with cloud cover and no wind. That is not how we want to run a season championship event. For those reasons we are cancelled. We apologize, but there are no days available to reschedule. We appreciate the support in 2026. We will have our schedule out much earlier than normal and anticipate a full slate of races beginning in April, May, and June with a break again in July for fairs. Our schedule should will consist of around 16 weekly races.
