Introducing the A1 Auto Garage Band... ok, they only exist in the cloud... and their debut hit "Old Black Ford" about my favorite truck in the whole world of course. Produced with Suno, some written and some prompted lyrics, and a sample of my own voice to generate that country twang.

Oh look... a donor LS... when the customer pulls in the budget, but wants similar results, we improvise and make it happen. Found this really low milage, but very truck-ish donor by calling in a favor. Thanks Casey!

A little donor LS before and after. Updates to come.

Hope everyone had a fun and safe Neewollah... it was a wet one. The only thing I braved the weather for this year was 3 nights of watching our youngest perform in Annie, and the only family had a blast at Buckets and Boards.

Another crossmember showed up for the 65 C20. This one goes on the pile and awaits the remaining chassis components so that I can get it all put together and painted. A lot of brake components and suspension on the way.

Wow!!! It's still new, but 204k for a Foxbody is crazy. Can't lie... I'm a little jealous though.

From Bring A Trailer:

This 1993 Ford Mustang SVT Cobra was placed in long-term storage by the original owner and was acquired by the selling dealer in 2025. Finished in Teal Metallic over Opal Grey leather, the car is powered by a 302ci V8 linked with a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Equipment includes the Preferred Equipment Package, 17″ alloy wheels, a removable sunroof panel, a rear spoiler, front sport seats, air conditioning, and a CD stereo. This Fox-body Cobra shows 12 miles and is offered by the selling dealer in Arizona with a window sticker, a Marti report, and a Virginia title.

The car is finished in Teal Metallic and features fog lights, a removable sunroof, a rear spoiler, Cobra badging, and polished dual exhaust tips.

Turbine-style 17″ aluminum wheels are mounted with older Goodyear Eagle. SVT-specific suspension components included custom-valved Tokico shocks and struts along with revised springs and sway bars. Stopping power is provided by power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes.

The front sport seats and split-folding rear bench are trimmed in Opal Grey leather with color-coordinated interior trim and carpets. Appointments include front power lumbar support, air conditioning, power windows, and a factory CD stereo. Protective plastic film and covers remain in place in the interior, and photos of the headliner are presented in the gallery.

The leather-wrapped airbag steering wheel frames a 140-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 5,900-rpm redline as well as gauges for voltage, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 12 miles.

The 302ci OHV V8 was factory rated at 235 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque and features a Cobra-specific upper intake manifold and camshaft as well as a 65mm throttle body, GT40 cast-iron cylinder heads, and aluminum roller rockers. The fuel pump was replaced and the air conditioning system was serviced in March 2025.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a BorgWarner T5 five-speed manual transmission and a Traction-Lok rear axle with 3.08 gearing.

The window sticker lists initial delivery to Beach Ford in Virginia Beach, Virginia along with factory colors, standard and optional equipment, and a total of $21,578.

The Marti report lists a build date of May 10, 1993, and displays production statistics, factory colors, and equipment.

Finally got the cab and fenders blasted. Good News and... less... good news I guess... really about what I figured. Was really afraid that rust in the upper window cowl was going all the way across and possibly into the interior but it's not. I'm replacing that outer piece already. The doors are trash. The bottom of the cab is beat, on pinholes from rust all across... and the whole back of the can was bondo. Going to weld a new back can into place instead of trying to save it. New door skins are coming. The fenders though I expected to be good. Whoever built this thing before must-have owned stock in bondo. Those are going into the bin as well. So basically the only thing factory will be the frame rails and some of the cab.
