Finished this Bultaco 200 Metralla. It was my customer's dad's bike. He told me some great stories about this bike. He wanted it cleaned up and running but not restored like new. The goal was to keep it as original as possible. I cleaned it up, touched up some parts, went through the engine and carburetor and got it running. I replaced worn out, damaged parts, and had the seat re-covered. I'm sure it brought back some great memories for him. It's so satisfying to bring these old machines back to life. And the stories are great too!

This 1973 Yamaha MX250 sat for about 30 years. It belonged to his dad. He just wanted it cleaned up and running to bring back some memories.

Just got this 1976 Suzuki GT500 going. This ol' girl sat for about 47 years according to the inspection sticker. She was brought back to life and sounds great. It's almost perfect except for the fuel tank. I'm looking for one to replace or try to repair as a last resort.

Update: I just got the ok to purchase a new old stock tank on e-bay. The only one left and it was in the Netherlands. I'll update photos after the paint work is complete.

Just finished the 1968 Harley drag bike built and ridden by Larry Nance in 1968 for my friend Dave. There's a great story behind this bike. It made the job very interesting. Dave will put the story on his you tube channel at bull pen cycles in the near future. Here's a few pics of the progress.
