Client stated they were having issues with their AquaHot. One company stated the ignition system was bad, $2500 part plus labor. Another company stated the fan assembly blew apart, essentially same repair, new burner assembly plus labor. Told him let's service it (hadn't been done) this covers labor on the diag for us to remove and disassemble the unit. Bench test showed drive motor operating normal,fan assembly and fuel rod not spinning. The clutch assembly had worn and was no longer rotating with the drive motor. So for the cost of an AquaHot yearly service and a $30 clutch assembly the customer is back up and running for his trip saving the customer almost $2k in repair expenses!
