Best In The Desert Vegas to Reno “The Other Way” - 505 miles of Nevada Desert. Our team started a bit rough, missed a turn in the dust at race mile 2.5 and spent 30 minutes recovering off a huge rock that also took out the driveline. After that repair, Dwyer and Glen Plake began putting in clean miles and passed for the lead when LivenGood Racing had a motor issue (sorry to hear). The next 10 hours were trouble free, Zak Ketcham and Holt Porter bringing the truck home for the win. That’s 2 in a row! Thanks to the Ketcham family and our awesome prep and pit crew!!

This is the truck I raced in the '90's, built by Ken Sypolt. My first race was the 1991 Baja 1000, and man did Baja teach me some lessons! This year's Baja 1000 will be run for the first time as a Cabo to Cabo loop, and I'm absolutely going to be in it for the 35th anniversary of the beginning of this crazy ride. Book your class soon and "avoid the school of hard knocks"!
