Ever wonder what the belts under your hood actually do?

Serpentine Belt: The visible belt winding around pulleys on the front of your engine. It drives the components keeping you charged, cool, and steering smoothly. When it cracks or snaps, your alternator stops charging, power steering cuts out, and the engine can overheat within minutes.

Timing Belt: Located behind protective engine timing covers. It keeps valve timing synchronized with piston movement. On interference engines, a snapped timing belt causes pistons to smash into open valves, frequently totaling the entire engine.
