Following a partnership with the Arbor Day Foundation, Subaru created an initiative that helps foster our environment and conserve the Earth for future generations. Each year, their “Subaru Loves the Earth” program provides trees to the communities surrounding their retailers! Having successfully created the largest-ever tree distribution program, Subaru has been able to plant over 1.1 million trees in conjunction with other initiatives. After meeting with one of our sales consultants here in the showroom, a returning customer of Empire Subaru purchased and took delivery of a new Outback Touring. However, the circumstances surrounding her purchase emphasize the importance of vehicle safety.

While traveling with her boyfriend on the Long Island Expressway, an 18-wheeler collided into our customer’s 2024 Outback at a very high rate of speed. Despite the horrific nature of the accident, both occupants survived and received only minor injuries.
