McCoy's Bad Boy Rods McCoy's bad Boy Rods is a full service antique boat and custom engine shop! Which has made custom automotive components and accessories since 1988.

McCoy's Bad Boy Rods is a division of Unique Corporation which was formally call Unique Accessories. Later it was purchased by Barry McCoy of McCoy's Bad Boy Rods in 2006. Barry worked for the owner of Unique Accessories in the earily days. It was created by Steve Barcus who also owned Sure Tool & Engineering.

We had to modify the hatch scoop for the 1955 Chris Craft Capri. The new 331 Hemi build and new duel 4 barrel carburetors would not clear. We stretched it 2 inch. I have to say it was the dirtiest sand casting I have ever welded.

Ran into a few of problems with this engine build! Good luck finding marine exhaust manifolds!! Lol

We bought the 1956 Arena Craft Barracuda for the first time and it took 1 st place in its class of 1974 and older fiberglass boats. Congratulations to John Allen for taking best, first in class and peoples choice award for his 2 boat the Hornet 2 and Sister Syn.

Just delivered the 1928 Graham Pagie engine. Completely rebuilt this engine. Mark gave us a quick tour of his private museum. The engine was bored and sleeved all six cylinders. Honed the big ends to match crank journals. The big ends are babbitt bearings. I must say it runs great and sounds even better .
