Lucy went to her new owner today. She’s gonna make a 50 year old man very happy on his birthday. A great present from his wife. It is his dream car. I love stories like this and he’s gonna be a great owner.

Frosty is up for sale. $30k I’m located near Washington, DC in Bowie, MD. For sale is my 1994 Land Rover Defender 110 3 door. It is a right-hand drive British vehicle that imported to the US. I have owned it for the last three years and it was purchased from when I was living in the UK. The vehicle is currently tagged and titled in Maryland and I have the clear title in hand.

This was my “second daily” in the UK. My plan was to set it up as a camping vehicle.

I replaced the original 300TDI engine with a 115k pull out one. Did the timing belt, glow plugs,etc. This 110 was extremely well maintained and drives great.

300tdi 2.5 diesel
New rebuilt by Ashcroft R380 transmission with less than 500 miles on it.
New rebuilt by Ashcroft LT230 transfer case with less than 500 miles on it.
New Wolf rear tub with side lockers
Bulkhead removal bar
New 2k diesel heater with remote
45 liter auxiliary fuel tank
Wright off road mat
New suspension
New brakes
5 wolf wheels with Cooper 265/75/16s less than 1k miles on them.
New swing away rear tire carrier
New rear crossmember
New 2” receiver hitch
Bulkhead very good
New Front fenders
Doors good and have a bit of corrosion in bottoms but lots of life and easy fix
Snorkel
New rear ladder
Roof bars
New Raptor Engineering gauge mounts

Painted in White Raptor with black accents. Some of the paint is coming off due to bad primer adhesion on the new tub.

My two are finally in the states. Now just to get them registered and titled. They should be up for sale soon, unless I keep one. 😉

Finally took pictures of the 2” receiver hitch for Frosty. Will make it super easy to swap hitches for towing or a recovery point.

Quick job for today. Replacing British style Dixon Bate trailer hitch with an American style 2” receiver style one from .
Part number is TF 873.

Installing the bulkhead removal bar today on Frosty. It’s a little fiddly to install with the wolf side boxes in the way. Now, I’ll be able to recline my seat a little!
