⚠️ SCAM ALERT: Fake listings using our address and the addresses of other dealers across multiple states. Now they are acting as this James David business but also have acted as Dream Mobile Homes.

Scammers are posting fake manufactured home listings online using Texas Home Outlet's address, along with those of other real dealers. They ask for deposits by wire, Zelle, Cash App, gift cards, or crypto, and then disappear.

How to know you're dealing with us:

• We are located at 10685 FM 1960 East, Huffman, TX 77336. Visit us in person before paying anything.
• Our TDHCA dealer license is MHDRET00035248. You can verify it on the TDHCA website.
• We will never ask you to pay by gift card, crypto, or app transfer to a personal account.
• Our only official phone number is 281.324.3020 and our only website is www.texashomeoutlet.com.

If you think you were scammed, call us at 281.324.3020. We'll help you confirm it. Please also report it at ic3.gov and reportfraud.ftc.gov, and to your state attorney general.

We're sorry this is happening to anyone, and we're working with law enforcement to stop it.

Hey manufactured home shoppers! Time for some real talk about advertising and shopping for a home online right now…

There is a lot of fraud and misinformation flying online. If it sounds too good to be true, it usually is! After being in business for 24 years, we have heard a LOT of stories from our customers, but lately, they have gotten a little bit crazy and pretty scary for the public.

Don’t get scammed! Nobody can sell you a home online! Nobody! Don’t fall for click bait and a way too cheap house.

Trust your instincts .
Talk to a real person.
Deliver funds in person or via certified mail to a licensed and bonded location. Know your salesperson’s license number. Verify it is legit. Know your RETAILER’S license number.

Work with a licensed and bonded professional business with a PROVEN track record . If someone is working outside of the law to give you access to a product that is “dirt cheap” and doesn’t maintain a physical location, buyer beware! Believe that little voice inside you that is saying something isn’t right. Too good to be true ends up meaning nothing good is going on there. At least not for YOU.

Our inventory is on site or order-able, not in some mysterious AI field with no location offered. We will never ask for deposits online, not even if you are in another state. We have got you.
