We run into this frequently when doing headlight repairs. A lot of the time the modules on headlights "look good, no obvious corrosion or water", when in fact the opposite is true. This was one from a late model VW that had a Crack in the lense and a light hit. Opening the module showed otherwise.

Big news! Our technicians are now Level 3 IMI EV and hybrid vehicle certified! We have the knowledge,training and tools to handle all your electric and hybrid vehicle needs. If the vehicle is having electrical issues, or needs service or testing, we can handle it! We are fully equipped with Tesla and Polestar equipment, as well as many other manufacturers. We have been super busy with a bunch of different projects. Most notably, we now have a Diagnostics and calibrations location in South Hudson! We are still working to get the shop how we want it, but it must be official since there's a pretty new sign hanging on it.

It has been pretty busy lately here at MLM Diagnostics. We have a new tech, Paul Kendall who brings fresh thoughts and experiences to the team. We now have 5 trucks on the road, all equipped with OEM scan tools and ADAS targets for almost every make on the road.

In all the running around though, the youngest tech, Chris Tessier Jr. was able to team with Mike on a diag job on a 17 Ford F350. The shop stated it may need a reflash for poor running. It was quickly determined to not be the case. In short order, we were able to determine cylinder 7 was not contributing. Chris was new to in cylinder pressure testing and cranking compression testing with a lab scope. The picture shows where there is no compression (loss of amperage pulse) and the pressure transducer did not register any pressure. Time for internal engine repairs!

Our techs are some of the best in the area, working together on these jobs helps to keep them all sharp. This allows us to perform ADAS calibrations to keep vehicles safe, and diagnose them (and other electrical/running issues) quickly and efficiently.

MLM Diagnostics has been performing mobile diagnostics, module programming and ADAS calibrations since 2008. We are looking to grow our technician family once again. Our ideal person will have a clean driver's license, minimum 2 years of automobile repair experience, a strong desire to learn and enjoy working with people. Our company provides late model vans with all OEM diagnostic and ADAS equipment, as well as other testing equipment (such as a Pico Scope).
