When a customer comes to you wanting a plow truck that will take whatever Mother Nature can throw down, we deliver. This very specific need was brought to us by Yellow Creek Township, Columbiana County, Ohio where for years during major snow and ice events even class 7 and 8 heavy duty conventional plow trucks with tire chains would get stuck in snow drifts between steep hills. This Oshkosh Corporation 6X6 repurposed military truck code name “The Grinch” (because you goin to school today) is up for the task. A Warren Family of Companies 14ft 7GA 304 stainless steel V-Box with a belt over chain conveyor is a multipurpose beast. Salt, sand asphalt and gravel, this system can go from spreading salt in the winter to asphalt patching and berming in the summer. We custom made an asphalt drop pan with a removable and folding 7ft long berm chute. Dual hydraulic motors mated to heavy duty gearboxes ensure the conveyor will keep up while delivering an even spread across multiple lanes of travel. Built in storage boxes and walkway on each side. A fabricated subframe with stainless steel liner to prevent salt from dropping onto chassis. Nearly 20 Buyers Products Company LED lights-strobe-flood-salt, their new lighted plow markers, plow light brackets, stainless folding ladder and more. We custom made stainless steel splash fenders. A camera and strobe light bracket on the top of the tailgate. Or Logo DOT tape. Kiln dried and cleared Oak sideboards with custom lettering. Henke Manufacturing loop hitch 11ft trip edge plow with high flare, custom made deflector with stainless retainers. The electrical system in this beast is all 24v so we got creative to ensure 12v lights could be utilized for ease of use and replacement. A FORCE America, Inc. Spin-A-Veyor valve with add-a-stak sections for the plow mated to air-shift controls. We put push buttons on either side at the rear so the operator can dispense material from the conveyor without having to yell at the driver to turn on/off for patch work. Flawless Signs & Wraps did a phenomenal job on designing a new logo and making the truck pop.
