Nobody in baseball is doing what Yordan Alvarez is doing right now.
Through 101 games, the Houston Astros slugger is putting together a season that has him in the hunt for one of baseball's rarest achievements.

Alvarez currently leads the American League in all three Triple Crown categories: batting average, home runs, and RBIs.
The last player to win the Triple Crown was Miguel Cabrera in 2012. No one has accomplished the feat since.
"Nobody is better than him. I'm really happy he plays for us and not against us," José Altuve said of his teammate.
Alvarez also became the first Cuban-born player to reach the All-Star break leading the majors in on-base percentage, slugging percentage, OPS, and OPS+, highlighting just how dominant his offensive season has been.
With the second half underway, the Triple Crown race is officially on.
If Alvarez keeps producing at this pace, baseball could witness its first Triple Crown winner in more than a decade.
