🎣 WHAT’S BITING AROUND GALVESTON BAY?

One of the best parts of staying at Galveston Bay RV Resort is having fishing access right here at the resort! Local anglers may reel in redfish, speckled trout, black drum, flounder and sheepshead.

🐟 2026–2027 LIMIT GUIDE:

• Redfish: 3 daily | 20–28 inches
• Speckled trout: 3 daily | 15–20 inches
• Black drum: 5 daily | 14–30 inches
• Sheepshead: 5 daily | Minimum 15 inches
• Flounder: 5 daily | Minimum 15 inches
⚠️ Flounder season is closed November 1–December 14.

Most anglers fishing coastal public waters need a valid Texas fishing license with a saltwater endorsement. Always verify the current Texas Parks & Wildlife Fishing Regulations before keeping your catch.

🌊 GALVESTON BAY PIER REMINDERS:

• Pier access is for residents only
• Guests must be accompanied by a resident
• Resident and guest wristbands must remain visible
• No swimming is permitted from or around the pier
• No lifeguard is on duty—use the pier at your own risk
• Children must be supervised by an adult
• Keep walkways clear and properly dispose of fishing line, hooks and trash
• Be courteous to others and avoid interfering with nearby fishing lines
• Follow all Texas fishing laws and posted resort rules

Measure carefully, release undersized fish safely and help us keep the pier clean for everyone!
