We are deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Kyle Loftis from 1320Video.
Kyle was far more than just someone behind a camera. He was someone who genuinely believed in this community, believed in the people in it, and believed in the stories that deserved to be told. We will forever be grateful for the role he played in our journey and the countless memories he helped preserve along the way.
From the earliest days of Mac racing as Command, to our first years grinding through TX2K and GTR World Cup, Kyle was there. Through the long nights, the failures, the pressure, the heartbreak, and the wins, he always made sure to capture it all. When we were chasing our first 6 second pass with Kimbo and Stormbreaker, Kyle was in our pits for every single pass, making sure the energy, emotion, and intensity of those moments would never be lost. He stayed because he believed it was going to happen, and he wanted to be there when it did.
His coverage of the automotive world went far beyond just races and YouTube videos. From street racing and cash days to some of the biggest moments in motorsports, Kyle documented a generation of automotive culture in a way nobody else could. So many of us built memories around moments he captured.
None of this will ever be forgotten.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Kyle’s family, friends, the entire 1320Video team, and everyone impacted by this loss.
Thank you for everything, Kyle. Your passion, loyalty, and impact on this community will live on forever. You will be greatly missed.
