Houston heat is no joke, especially when your A/C stops working.

This 2014 Honda Accord came in because the A/C was blowing warm air. After performing a complete A/C system diagnosis, our technicians found the culprit: a failed A/C compressor.

We replaced the compressor, serviced the system, and recharged the A/C to restore cold air and get this Accord back on the road comfortably.

Another GMC Yukon transformation in progress at Gman Automotive & Body Shop.

This Yukon came in needing collision repairs, and our team got to work restoring it back to pre-accident condition. Repairs included a front fender replacement, hood repair, rear bumper cover repair, and installation of a new OEM running board sourced directly from the dealership.

Final touches on this 2022 Hyundai Elantra!

This Elantra came to us with front-end damage, and our team worked hard to restore it back to pre-accident condition. After repairs, paintwork, and reassembly, we're now completing the finishing touches before it heads back to its owner.

That missing tread isn't just cosmetic—it could be a warning sign that your tire is nearing failure.

Driving on damaged tires can increase your risk of:
❌ Blowouts
❌ Poor traction
❌ Longer stopping distances
❌ Loss of vehicle control

Did you know your tires have a birthday? 🎂

Look for the DOT number on the sidewall. The last 4 digits tell you when the tire was manufactured.

Example:
👉 DOT ######X **2521**
= 25th week of 2021

☀️ Houston heat can accelerate tire aging, even if the tread still looks good.

As a general rule, tires should be inspected closely after 6 years and many manufacturers recommend replacement around 6–10 years of age.

A proper alignment machine provides a before-and-after report showing your vehicle's alignment measurements.

⛽😳 Oops... put diesel in your gas vehicle?

It happens more often than you think!

We recently helped a customer who accidentally filled their gasoline-powered vehicle with diesel fuel. Thankfully, they caught it quickly and we were able to get them back on the road.

🚨 If this ever happens to you:

❌ Don't start the vehicle.
❌ Don't drive it "just a little farther."
❌ Don't keep trying to restart it.

✅ Have the vehicle towed.
✅ Get the fuel system inspected as soon as possible.

The sooner the problem is addressed, the better the chances of avoiding more extensive fuel system repairs.

The good news? Mistakes happen, and in many cases, they can be corrected if handled quickly.

🚗 Tire pressure light on? Don’t ignore it 👀

One of the easiest ways to find the correct tire pressure for your vehicle is by checking the sticker inside your driver-side door jamb. Most vehicles list the recommended PSI right there! 👌

⚠️ Important:
The PSI printed on the tire itself is usually the MAX pressure — not the recommended pressure for your specific vehicle.

Driving with incorrect tire pressure can lead to:
❌ Uneven tire wear
❌ Poor fuel economy
❌ Rough handling
❌ Increased risk of tire failure

And if your tire pressure light stays on after adding air, you could have:
🔹 A slow leak
🔹 A nail in the tire
🔹 A faulty TPMS sensor
