For years, Speed Advocates has been more than just car meets and events. We’ve worked to build a real community, helping people come together, supporting small businesses, organizing charity events, and stepping up during natural disasters when families needed it most.

Right now, Stephen Cruise is facing a battle far bigger than any burnout competition or late night garage project. They are in need of a kidney transplant and are searching for a living donor.

A successful transplant would mean more than improving one life. It would mean getting back to doing what Speed Advocates has always stood for — helping others, supporting the community, organizing relief efforts, and continuing to make a positive impact across Houston and beyond.

Living kidney donation is safe, life changing, and can give someone a second chance at life. Even sharing this post could help us reach the right person.

Remember today isn’t about a long weekend, cookouts, or time off.

Memorial Day is about remembering the men and women who gave everything for this country. The ones who never made it home. The families who carry that sacrifice every single day.

Speed Advocates, is proud to be part of a community filled with veterans, first responders, hardworking families, and people who understand what service and sacrifice truly mean.
