❤️ 47 Years of Marriage — And It Just Keeps Getting Better! ❤️

47 years ago today, on August 17, 1979, I married Dianna after knowing her only six weeks. Not many gave us a chance—but we only needed each other.

We were married at a little chapel in Northwest Houston with just her brother and his wife there. No big crowd, just a beginning that would last a lifetime.

And here we are… 47 years later. ❤️

We’ve walked through every season together—financial struggles and success, health and sickness, joy and hardship. Through it all, God has been faithful.

At some point, we surrendered our lives to the Lord, and from that moment on, He has blessed us beyond anything I could have imagined. Life has truly grown better and better.

I’m grateful for the life we’ve built, our family, our memories, and every mile we’ve shared. It is still one of my greatest honors to love you, serve you, and care for you.

Dianna, I love you more today than I did 47 years ago—and I didn’t think that was possible.

Happy 47th Anniversary, sweetheart. ❤️
