This is not your usual old farm truck.
This 1972 Dodge D150 Short Bed has the kind of setup that makes people look twice — a freshly rebuilt 383ci Big Block, Comp cam, rebuilt 906 heads, rebuilt 727 automatic with stall converter, and an 8¾ rear end with 489 Sure Grip and 3.55 gears.

There are modern muscle cars, and then there is a Hellcat in Plum Crazy.

This 2023 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat Jailbreak is the sort of car that makes sense for someone who wants the last of the proper American V8 madness. Wide, loud, supercharged, rear-wheel drive, and finished in one of Dodge’s most recognisable colours.

Under the bonnet is the 6.2L Supercharged HEMI V8, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive. It is not subtle, and that is exactly the point.

Some cars are famous.

Some cars become part of pop culture.

And then there’s **Eleanor**.

This is one of the actual screen-used “Hero / Beauty” cars from *Gone in 60 Seconds* — the Mustang made famous alongside Nicolas Cage and Angelina Jolie.

Eleven Mustang Fastbacks were originally built for filming, with different cars used for different scenes. This example was one of the surviving hero cars and has since undergone a ground-up restoration by the same team involved with the original movie cars.

Underneath, it’s running a stroked 347ci Ford small-block, Tremec manual transmission, upgraded suspension and brakes, and of course the famous **“Go Baby Go”** shifter.

Whether you’re a Mustang person or not, it’s hard to argue with just how recognizable this car became.
