Finished in a custom Midnight Blue using a multi-stage PPG refinish process.
The system includes a basecoat followed by a tinted intercoat mid-layer to achieve depth and a subtle candy effect, then sealed with high-solids 2K clearcoat for gloss, durability, and long-term protection.

This classic came in with severe rust and no floors. The owner brought in a donor car so we could bring it back to life the right way.

We performed a full frame-off restoration — rebuilding the structure, replacing rusted metal, and restoring the body with precision. From two cars, we created one solid foundation.

Finished in a custom midnight blue semi-candy paint, this Cadillac now stands stronger, cleaner, and ready to turn heads.

Car-Pals Auto Collision & Restoration is a family-owned and operated business with deep roots in both collision repair and classic car restoration. Raul Carmona came to Houston over 30 years ago, bringing with him valuable experience from working on the GMC assembly line in Mexico City. Combining that expertise with his passion for cars, he opened a body shop in Houston, serving the community with high-quality collision repairs while nurturing his love for restoring classic vehicles.

A few years later, Raul’s daughter Ivette joined the shop, learning the ins and outs of insurance claims and customer service. Together, they formed a powerful team: Raul specializes in restoring cars, preserving their beauty and authenticity, while Ivette focuses on collision repairs, ensuring every vehicle is repaired efficiently and to the highest standards.
