1/28 On-Road Mini-Z Racing at Houston RC

Yesterday’s club racing program featured an exciting focus on Mini-Z racing, while our Off-Road and Crawling courses remained open for open practice. Drivers brought intense competition to the track, showcasing everything from Kyosho Box stock cars to high-performance 5500kv MOD builds.

Racers pushed the limits throughout the day—chasing lap records, refining setups, and battling wheel-to-wheel for every position in a highly competitive environment.

Congratulations to all podium finishers on their outstanding performances.

Apparently “just one more RC” turned into an entire parking lot of tiny trucks and scale rigs 😅

We’ve been listening to you hobbyists and stocking up accordingly. So yes — besides our racing lineup (1/28–1/10 scale OnRoad & OffRoad), we now have a growing collection of scale goodies too 👀, including scale NUTS and titanium chassis!

We’re talking scale Blazers, K10s, Land Cruisers, Toyota XtraCabs, 4Runners, and more from brands like Axial, RC4WD, and Kyosho. We also just added new Injora IR60 bodies for 1/10 builds, RC4WD bodies, and enough scale accessories to make your wallet nervous 💸😂

Basically… if it crawls, races, flips, breaks, or looks ridiculously cool sitting on your shelf — we’re probably into it.

🚨 Midweek Madness RC Fun at Houston RC! 🚨

Tonight the arena was PACKED with RC action! 🏁 Our 1/10 OffRoad buggies & stadium trucks were battling it out on the track, while upstairs the Mini-Z practice sessions were heating up 🔥 And of course, the crawler courses were full of wild lines and nonstop fun! 🤘

Big congrats to all the podium finishers! 🏆

Saturday Club Racing - 5/23/26

Another awesome day of off-road racing with Buggies and Stadium Trucks! From the first heat to the mains, the racing was insanely close and the energy stayed high all night long.

The top 3 overall fastest lap times were all 9.xx laps from three different drivers — Mike, Eric, and Wade. That’s about as close as it gets! 🔥

With a strong mix of out of town racers and seriously fast locals, the pace kept climbing every round. Every class delivered tight battles, clean racing, and some impressive driving all around. It’s always great seeing new faces come out and push the regulars, making everyone faster in the process.

Huge congratulations to all of our podium finishers — well earned! 🏁

As we roll into summer ☀️, several of our awesome HRC volunteers' schedules have opened up, which means we’re able to extend our Friday hours AND host a few Friday Night Mini-Z races! 🙌🏎️💨

Whether you’re a seasoned racer, casual practice warrior, or just getting into the hobby — we’d love to have you join us for some fun racing, tuning, laughs, and good company 🤝
