Apparently The Cat in the Hat has completely lost his mind in 2026. 😂😂
I remember when this man just showed up with Thing 1 & Thing 2, wrecked the house and left.
Now he's got the police involved, schools on alert and half the country looking out the window like… 👀🐱🎩
Dr. Seuss did NOT prepare us for this chapter. 🤣
At this point, if I see a 6-foot cat in a red-and-white hat walking down Tunnel Blvd., I'm not asking questions.
I'm locking the door and going home. 😂😂😂
TPSO Responds to “Cat In The Hat” Social Media Threats

Terrebonne Parish Sheriff Tim Soignet has confirmed that the Sheriff’s Office is aware of social media posts associated with the recent “Cat in the Hat” phenomenon that reference alleged threats involving Terrebonne Parish schools.
At this time, TPSO Detectives have identified NO CREDIBLE THREAT to any Terrebonne Parish school. However, the matter remains under active investigation, and our Deputies will continue taking all appropriate precautions to protect our students, faculty, and staff.
Parents are encouraged to speak with their children about the serious consequences of creating, posting, or sharing threatening content—even when intended as a joke or participation in an online trend. Such activity can cause unnecessary fear, disrupt school operations, consume emergency resources, and potentially result in criminal charges.
Anyone who encounters concerning content should preserve the post or message, document the account information, and immediately report it to law enforcement or school officials. Please do not repost or circulate unverified information, as doing so can spread fear and interfere with the investigation.
