This Ram 3500 came into the shop making a noise that could only be described as “it doesn’t sound cheap” 😬

The owner travels the country pulling his RV and managed to make it back home before bringing it to us for a diagnosis. After tearing into it, we found the culprit: the ring gear and pinion had decided their working relationship was officially over.

We performed a complete rear differential rebuild and upgraded it with an Eaton Truetrac differential to make sure this truck is ready for whatever miles lie ahead.

Now this Ram is back on the road, pulling with confidence and ready for many more adventures!

🔥 The LS-swapped Isuzu is officially moving under its own power! 🔥

After a lot of hard work, planning, and attention to detail, it’s an awesome feeling to see this project at this stage!

We’re not quite finished yet, but reaching this milestone is a huge step forward. We’ll continue dialing everything in and put some miles on it before calling it complete.

Stay tuned - We’ll make another post once the project is fully wrapped up and road-tested!

It’s been a busy week at CW Motorsports after Memorial Day weekend! We hope everyone had a great holiday spent honoring and remembering those who served! 🇺🇸

Here’s just a few of the projects that have been keeping us busy in the shop:

GMC Denali – Wrapped up the CP3 conversion, then put some miles on it to make sure everything was operating exactly as it should before sending it back to the customer.

Ram 3500 – Installed a set of Firestone airbags to provide extra support and stability when towing those heavy loads out of town.

LS-Swapped Isuzu – Made some solid progress on this unique build and are one step closer to getting it back on the road, with the light at the end of the tunnel finally in sight.

Ford Bronco – After weeks of working with the insurance company, we got approval for a brand-new engine in the Bronco that went a little too far into a mud hole at Hot Springs Off Road Park.

Classic Ford Bronco – We dove into this old-school cool Bronco that’s getting a fresh new motor so the owner can get back to enjoying it for years to come.

6.7 Cummins – In for head gaskets, ARP head studs, and a Banks Power grid heater delete for added reliability.

Mitsubishi Spyder – Came in running rough. After teardown, we found a rocker arm had come off and damaged the camshaft. Now it’s time to fix it the right way.

This big boy Denali HD came to us after randomly shutting off on the interstate, leaving our customer stranded. 👀🔧

After assessing the damage, we confirmed what most CP4 pump owners are afraid of - catastrophic failure.

To get this truck back on the road the right way, we’re performing a full CP3 conversion, replacing the injectors, and completely cleaning the fuel system. Once finished, this Denali will be ready for many more reliable miles ahead. 💪🔥
