The best boards are the ones that make it to you. There's a reason for that.
Every kit comes across one bench before it goes anywhere. Cut checked against the template. Finish checked under direct light, which shows you everything a shop light hides. Bolt holes checked against the jig.
Off by a hair and it goes back. One speck in the finish and it goes back. Most boards clear it. Some do not, and those never see a shipping label, which is exactly why you have never heard about them.
That is the whole policy. It passes the bench or it does not leave the building.
