We're seeking a friendly and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a counter help associate. In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for customers on the phone and inside the store, helping to answer questions and assisting with finding the appropriate product for their projects. You'll also assist with mixing paint, processing transactions, and stocking.
*Responsibilities:*
- Greet customers and provide helpful, knowledgeable service
- Assist customers in selecting the right products for their projects
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently
- Restock shelves and maintain a clean, organized store environment
- Assist with receiving and stocking merchandise
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve sales goals and improve customer satisfaction
- Stay up-to-date on new products, promotions, and services
*Requirements:*
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
- Availability to work full time hours of 8am - 5pm, Monday through Friday
- High school diploma or equivalent
*Preferred Qualifications:*
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service environment
- Basic knowledge of painting and painting supplies
