Go Kart that had been neglected for awhile. Replaced the carburetor and fuel lines. Installed a new air filter. Replaced the throttle cable. Had to make some throttle linkages to get the throttle working. Old linkages were missing. Put a new chain on the sprocket and new sprocket keys to replace the missing ones. Kart is back in action and runs great.

Husqvarna riding mower started blowing smoke from the exhaust while mowing, then shut off and would not start again. Drained the oil to find mostly gas in the crank case. Found that the carburetor was full of debris and some had stuck in the needle valve, causing fuel to constantly drain into the motor. Carb cleaned, new fuel filter and fuel line, and oil change has this mower back to work.

Push mower been sitting awhile. drained the old fuel out and cleaned the tank. Cleaned the carburetor and replaced diaphragm. Cleaned under the deck and put a fresh spark plug and fuel in it. Mower starts good and runs strong.

Yard machine riding mower. Kept cutting out and would die at random, struggled to start up again after it would die. Found the rubber seal on the fuel cap had deteriorated and fell into the fuel tank. Pieces of the rubber seal were getting pulled into the fuel lines and cutting off fuel to the carburetor. Removed fuel tank to clean it. Replaced the fuel filter and fuel lines.

Husqvarna 120 and a Stihl 025. Both had set for awhile and would not start. Cleaned carburetors and added fresh fuel for both to get them running. Sharpened and adjusted the chain on the Stihl saw. Both are now ready for work.

Sorry, not many pictures with this one. John Deere X590. Turn the key and relays could be heard clicking, but no start and the digital display screen would not display any information. During trouble shooting it was noticed that when the key was pushed in and shaken back and forth that the display screen would come on but it still wouldn’t start. Found there to be a lot of grease inside the ignition switch that was preventing connection to the contacts. Sprayed the ignition switch clean and reinstalled it. Display screen is working and the mower starts fine every time now. Sometimes it’s the simple things.…

Toro recycler self propelled mower with 6.75hp tecumseh motor. leaked fuel and would not start. After replacing carburetor with an OEM tecumseh carburetor, the fuel leak stopped but it still would not start. Ended up finding the flywheel key had sheered off. put a new flywheel key on to get it mowing again.

This was a new one for me. Struggled to find the parts to rebuild the recoil pull start assembly. Afterwards the fuel system needed rebuilt in order to start and stay running. More info in the pictures.

Snapper push mower. Fuel system cleaned, valve gaps checked, coil gap adjusted and back to mowing.
