Choose your windshield installer carefully! Here is another example of a windshield that was previously replaced, and the previous installer did not prime the pinch weld. Look at the rust found after the windshield was cut out (top frame). I cleaned the rust with a wire wheel, and covered it with primer to prevent further rusting (lower frame), but significant damage was already done. Make sure your installer uses primer!
