I’m headed up to Glencoe, New Mexico, today to complete two mechanic jobs after waiting for the special-order parts needed to finish them.

Unfortunately, you can’t always run down to the local parts store and get everything required for a job. Some parts have to be special ordered, which can mean waiting a while for them to arrive.

I haven’t been working as much lately because of the heat, but I’m thankful to God for every steady job that comes my way. With the high cost of fuel these days—especially when traveling to complete mobile mechanic jobs—every job helps me catch up on the bills and keep moving forward. God always provides right when we need it most. 🙏🔧

After a lot of thought, I’ve decided to start rebranding Renegade Automotive Repair to better reflect who I am and what this business stands for.

I’m not a big corporate repair shop. I’m a small-town country boy, a mobile diesel mechanic, and a firm believer in doing things right the first time.

When you call me, you’re not paying for minutes on a clock. You’re paying for years of experience, hard-earned knowledge, professional tools, honest diagnostics, and quality repairs.

Whether it’s a diesel pickup, farm equipment, roadside breakdown, or general service work, my goal is simple: get you back up and running without the runaround.

Renegade Automotive Repair is built on faith, hard work, honesty, and treating people right.

Thank you to everyone who has supported my business over the years. I appreciate every customer who has trusted me with their vehicles and equipment.

A courteous reminder to all potential business partners of small business owners: refraining from last-minute cancellations and payment disputes is mutually beneficial, as timely payments enable us to settle our own financial obligations. Respecting the time and efforts of small business owners is essential. Unfortunately, a recent incident with a customer has necessitated a revised payment policy. Going forward, discounts and complimentary research services will only be offered to clients who engage our services at our standard hourly rate.

If you don’t like my new policy then find another Mechanic to screw over and see how far that gets you!

What a fun and exciting day, not. I was required to extract a bed and tank from a customer's F150 in order to access the pump. Typically, you would drop the tank, but with 36 gallons of unleaded fuel, that's not a viable option.

Throughout my work on this customer's 1952 Ford F-6 Flatbed/Dumptruck, I have uncovered a multitude of issues that were previously overlooked or misaddressed. As of now, I have spent roughly 30 hours correcting the deficiencies created by the prior mechanic. The customer has specified that the vehicle must retain its original equipment, including the 6 Volt Positive Ground System. This project is proving to be an exacting and labor-intensive process, requiring a diligent approach to ensure the vehicle is properly restored. I appreciate the opportunity to return this vintage vehicle to its original condition, thereby enabling our customer to participate in the forthcoming July 4th Parade. Note: As visible in the last few pictures, there are bare/burnt wires due to the previous mechanic's substandard work. The customer was unaware of this issue and reported smelling burning wires when attempting to start the truck. I assure you that I will rectify this situation properly, even if it requires investing 80 hours of my time.
