Zack’s 3 Year Anniversary!! Thank you so much for the last 3 years. You’ve been with MTech longer than anyone else and have played a huge role in helping build this company into what it is today. Funny enough there was a time when I would answer the phones and everyone would ask for Mike. Now when I answer the phone everyone is asking for Zack. That alone tells you the type of person he is. He has earned the trust and respect of so many clients and I hear nothing but great things from our clients every single day.

I’m incredibly proud of the man you’ve become and the steps you’ve taken in life. Watching your growth over the years has been amazing and you deserve all the success that comes your way. Thank you for being one of the most genuine people I know and showing up for our clients, our team, and this company. Your hard work and dedication do not go unnoticed.

You truly are one of the best parts of 603 MTech Autowerks. Love you brotha ❤️

Five years ago, I took a chance and started 603 MTech Autowerks. Looking back, none of this would have been possible without the support of our clients, followers, employees, friends, and family.

To every client who has trusted us with their Mercedes, thank you. To everyone who has followed our journey, shared our content, left a review, or recommended us to a friend, thank you. Your support has helped us grow more than you’ll ever know.

To the clients who travel from Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and beyond, thank you for believing in us. I also want to thank my team. Zack, Adam, Alex, Jesse, and Josh, this wouldn’t be possible without you guys.

This year was especially meaningful as I welcomed my first son, Jelani Michael Perez. I look forward to teaching him the same work ethic and values that my dad taught me and most importantly, thank you to my dad. He helped build this dream from the ground up. From the floors and lighting to the paint and countless late nights, we wouldn’t be where it is today without him.

As we enter year five, we’re excited to become more involved in our community, attend more car shows, and continue growing something we’re all proud of. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for being part of this journey.

This E63 AMG is already making around 720 wheel horsepower with a Stage 2 tune.

We’re installing over $10,000 in upgrades including VRP exhaust manifolds, an Armaspeed carbon fiber intake, and a VRP billet intake manifold to improve airflow and support more power from the M177 platform.

While we’re in there, we’re also replacing the engine mounts and oil separators as preventative maintenance.

Once everything is installed, the Mercedes will be heading back to the dyno for a custom tune. The owner’s ultimate goal is 800 wheel horsepower with a future high pressure fuel pump upgrade.

Do you think it will have 800 wheel horsepower?

AMG engines are extremely advanced and require proper diagnostics, factory repair procedures, and technicians that actually understand these platforms. Just because someone can change parts doesn’t mean they understand how these engines are designed to operate.

Who do you trust working on your AMG?

Customer wanted pops and bangs, now his catalytic converter is melted and clogged.

What started as a burble tune turned into excessive exhaust backpressure, misfires, and a major repair bill. A lot of people love the sound a burble tune gives, but don’t realize the extra heat and stress it can put on the exhaust system over time.

Would you still run a burble tune on your vehicle after seeing this?

Smoke coming from the exhaust? Most people immediately think blown head gasket, blown engine, or turbo failure.

After inspecting the spark plugs and checking inside the cylinders with a bore scope camera, we found oil leaking past the valves from failed valve guide seals.

Over time, these seals harden and allow oil into the combustion chamber, causing excessive smoke and oil consumption. This is why a proper diagnosis matters before replacing expensive parts.

Would you have guessed valve guide seals?

Have you ever had a misfire on your Mercedes and had no idea where to start?

A check engine light and a rough idle can be caused by a lot more than just spark plugs. In this video, we walk through the proper way to diagnose a misfire on a Mercedes-Benz instead of just throwing parts at it.

We start by scanning fault codes, checking live data, inspecting ignition components, and verifying what cylinder is actually causing the issue. Proper diagnostics save time, money, and prevent unnecessary repairs.

This is why diagnosing modern Mercedes vehicles requires more than just a code reader.

Would you try diagnosing a misfire yourself?

The best part of being an owner is seeing your clients grow.

A lot of the people who come through our doors today have been with us since the mobile repair days. Back when I was working out of a small setup, driving to clients, and just trying to build something bigger.

Now years later, it’s crazy seeing those same clients leveling up in life right alongside us. New businesses, business growth, career growth, and even seeing people go from students to professionals in the field they worked so hard to get into. That’s honestly the most rewarding part of all of this.

It’s bigger than just fixing Mercedes. It’s the relationships, the trust, and watching everyone grow together over the years.

We truly appreciate every single person who supports 603 MTech Autowerks. None of this would be possible without you guys.

Sounds like a loose heat shield, right? Probably a cheap fix right? That’s what most people think until they find out this $70 backing plate turns into a $1,000+ repair on a Mercedes.

On this rear setup, the brake backing plate sits behind the wheel bearing. To replace it properly, the wheel hub has to be pressed out of the bearing, and during disassembly it typically damages the wheel bearing, meaning a new wheel bearing needs to be installed at the same time.

This is why some repairs on Mercedes become so labor intensive even when the actual part is inexpensive.

Would this surprise you if your Mercedes started making this noise?

Can you believe engine coolant is leaking into the washer fluid tank?!

This 2021 GLC63 came in with a low coolant light on the dash. After pressurizing the system, we found the washer fluid tank leaking coolant.

Some Mercedes use a heated washer system that runs engine coolant through a heating element. When that element fails, it leaks internally and contaminates the entire tank. Sounds crazy, but we’re starting to see this more often.

If you saw a low coolant light, would you ever think to check the washer tank?
