What happens when interior designers get their hands on a VLC-built van?

We’re about to find out.

Tomorrow night The Vanlife Collective will be parked outside Sustain Home in downtown Hood River for the final First Friday of the season. Their team is staging out the interior of one of our rigs, and we’re genuinely excited to see what they come up with.

If you’ve never been to Sustain, you’re missing out. They do an excellent job of capturing PNW aesthetics, and their design language really resonates with our team. We’re always on the lookout for ways to elevate the look and feel of our vans, and we’re honored by the chance to connect with and learn from the creative minds at Sustain.

This month’s First Friday is also celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month. Expect good food, good drinks, and good people. Come tour the van, shop Sustain’s showroom, grab a Lyle Style margarita and some Tropicali street corn. See you tomorrow!

Heads up! 🔥🔥🔥

The Backcountry Offroad Expo in Sisters is switching venues. Due to the wildfire situation in Central Oregon, the event is relocating from Sisters to La Pine.

Fire conditions are extra spicy right now. Kudos to the event organizers for their quick thinking and keeping the show going. We are looking forward to a great weekend!

Find us at the La Pine Rodeo Grounds this Saturday and Sunday, August 1-2. We’ll have vans on display and the full VLC crew on hand. Plus, we have something extra planned for Saturday night.

This weekend is our hometown show Adventure Van Expos and Vehicles

Hood River County Fairgrounds, Saturday and Sunday, June 20–21.

We’ll have our latest vans on site, and a full crew there all weekend to talk vans, build projects, and in-show specials.
