Here’s a look of what we have been up too the last couple weeks. After 20 years of service our Peterbilt 30ton wrecker is getting a refurb. We are wrapping up the final stages of paint work. 20 years later we are doing the same steps we did with sandblast and paint. We built this truck in 2006 out of a rolled over tractor from a local construction company and bought a wrecker body that was involved in an accident. The last couple weeks we went through the drivetrain and rebuilt the driveline, rear suspension, and added 20k pusher axle to make it last another 20 years. The latest addition to our growing fleet. A Trebron winch-box designed for off road recovery. This will help tremendously with the recovery’s we do in the back woods of Wayne county. A blast from the past, today marks 33 years since the purchase of our business from Kenny Burdick. A lot has changed over those years from renting the shop on old willow ave, to building our current main location on Brook rd, and adding a second location in 2017. When we first started we did very little auto repair, today we have 4 full time technicians. None of this would be possible without our great customers, from the past, present and future. We like to think we are making Kenny proud everyday by keeping his same morals and doing the right thing day in and day out. Fun fact, back when they switched to 7 digit phone numbers, Burdicks (and our current number) was assigned 253-1050 which police code 10-50 is motor vehicle accident. Remember if your in an accident 570-253-1050.

One of our most recent projects completed, last fall we bought this F450 from a borough in southern NJ with a engine issue. Knowing that the truck only had 38k miles we took our chances and bought the truck and determined the misfire to be a bad lifter. To remove the lifters on most modern vehicles the cylinder head has to be removed. So while we had the cab off for engine work we painted the cab our color, and also prepped and painted the chassis and dump box. Once back together we coated the frame and underside of cab to help prolong the effects of living in the rust belt. In the end we have added another piece of equipment to help with accident cleanup at a fraction of the cost of new. For anything accident/recovery related we can handle any situation. 570-253-1050
