Dear Friends and Customers,
It is with great sadness that I'm posting this tonight. As you all know my health earlier in the year created some setbacks for a few months. My wife and I had planned a camping trip for June of this year but had to postpone it until September. All good we made the changes of itinerary and all was a go, by the way had a great time saw a lot of nice things in Wisconsin. But after a month on the road we were both ready to be home. I was ready to get back into the swing of things at the shop. Feeling refreshed and ready to go only to find out a few days before returning that the shop was going in a different direction that wasn't going to include me. So basically I got retired while on vacation. I feel bad at this point for my friends and customers because I have no control how the business will be handled, that being said I was running the business for the owners as best as I could providing them with a decent living over the past 20 years. I wish them the best, I hope to occasionally see you all out and about around town enjoying the wonderful community we live in and enjoy. We shall see if I can get use to this retirement thing and my wife getting use to me being home every day. Please take care of yourselves, see you soon.

Hope all is well with all of you as we approach the 4th of July. Just want to thank all of you for the well wishes and certainly appreciate all of you. So on to better things, I {Al] will be back in the shop on Monday July 3rd. Glad to be healthy again and able to get back in the swing of things. Well Customers and Friends,
It's been an amazing start to 2023. As always you folks our customers have been great. As always we appreciate your support for not only Homosassa Tire but all hometown businesses. For me here nat Homosassa tire some health issues have sidelined me (Al) for a bit, have slowed myself down to a couple hours a day doing paperwork. As my situation improves I will be on site more but until then Todd, Matt, and Jerry are here to provide the same customer service as in past years. Well here we go again, due to a dwindling workforce I am forced to focus business on tires and tires alone. As of August 20th we will no longer be doing oil changes. Jerry, my oldest tire guy retired 2 months ago but has come in to help out with tires for at least a month of those 2 months. His help is greatly appreciated always and the customers love him as do we here at the shop. Looking for a reliable tire changer with some working knowledge of tire machines and balancers and tire repair, not plugs actual repair with patches inside. Thank you all for your understanding and hopefully we can in the future provide more extended services. For those looking for careers sometimes trades are more fulfilling than an office job. I know I've been there and my automotive choice was fulfilling and I have had a blast, enjoyed every minute of this life.

Just a little heads up at this point. Tires are getting harder and harder to get. And it seems getting more expensive as each day passes. The larger all terrain and mud tires are almost non-existent here lately. We here at Homosassa Tire continually strive to give our customers the best tires at the best prices always and will continue that practice as best we can. We pride ourselves on getting what we don't have in stock as quickly as possible and getting them on your vehicle properly and in a timely manner. Dear Customers and future customers I would like to let you know that the cost to mount and balance tires bought elsewhere and brought to us to mount and balance is 30.00 and up larger mud and all terrain tires are more to mount and balance. The cost increase due to the increase cost of equipment and labor. Buy your tires from us and the mount and balance is included in the price of tires plus buying my tires we will rotate and balance them every 6000 miles free of charge. Tires bought elsewhere the charge for rotate and balance is 42.40 Thank you for your understanding and continued support of your Hometown Tire Store

Dear Customers and Friends.
Well we tried closing at 4pm it actually worked for 1 day, so keeping with safe and cautious procedures we are back to regular hours 8am to 5pm Monday thru Friday, have changed my tire guys hours to splitting up their hours to 5 hours each so wait times for tire repairs may be a few extra minutes but we are here to take care of all your needs. Mechanic still working full days for all your car repair needs. That being said please everyone take care of yourselves and check on your neighbors that may need some help getting the items they need to get through this event.
