Sometimes the most simplest things what make your engine fail. Excessive corroded electrical conduit was the cause for this engine not starting up property. A full replacement from Battery to engine was was done.

Pre-purchase Marine Inspection, Marine Survey. If you thinking about purchasing vessel get it professionally inspected, when you tried to insure it the insurance company will request an inspection.

Please know that a inspection on the engines and vessel should be done before the purchase not after! Unfortunately this client did the inspection after and found out many issues that his new vessel has.

Cannot have wire conduit without any type of Chief or protection laying on top of aluminum tank. Nor water standing still on aluminum tank this will accelerate poultice corrosion.
