This truck came in with extensive frame rot throughout multiple sections. All compromised metal was cut out and replaced with new steel tied into solid factory material. Rear sections, crossmembers, reinforcement areas, and suspension mounting points were rebuilt and reinforced as needed.

Process included:

* Full rust removal
* Fabrication of repair sections
* Structural welding repairs
* Frame reinforcement
* Prep and protective coating application

A lot of shops won’t touch repairs at this level — especially when the goal is long-term structural integrity instead of just covering rust up.

This is what “bad rust” actually looks like.

This 1992 Land Rover Defender came in with severe frame rot — not surface rust, not something you can patch… the frame was failing from the inside out.

The suspension mounts were sitting on metal that was literally falling apart.

We had to:

✔️ Cut the frame open
✔️ Remove all internal rot
✔️ Rebuild the structure from the inside out
✔️ Reinforce and tie everything back into solid steel

This isn’t cosmetic work — this is structural reconstruction.

Most of this damage isn’t visible until it’s too late.

If your truck is starting to rust, deal with it early… because this is where it ends up.
