This customer has a international tractor with an ISX Cummins. He said he would start the truck up and let it run for 15 minutes and then the oil pressure would drop. We pulled the oil pan and inspected inside and couldn't really see any noticeable issues. So I thought maybe we should run the oil through a paint filter and see if there is any metal that collects in the filter. We'll there wasn't metal. But there was straw and flies and other insects. Figured out after running for 15 minutes that the oil pickup tube was collecting the debri and finally plugging the screen on the tube. Cleaned the pan and changed the filter ,put new oil in it . This engine ran really good.
