🌟 Employee Spotlight: Kolemann Reed 🌟
Kolemann officially joined the US Fire Apparatus team on October 13, 2025, after first working with us earlier that year as a contractor helping apply chevron striping to fire trucks. He came to us with no previous experience in the fire industry, but with a willingness to learn and work hard.
When asked what he enjoys most about his job, Kolemann said it’s everything he has been taught and all the new skills he continues to learn. He is especially grateful for the willingness of those around him to teach and encourage him, as well as the opportunities he has been given to grow both professionally and personally. He credits Mr. Chris, Jeremy, Brian, Matt, Alton, and Tyler for the time, support, and guidance they have given him along the way.
One of Kolemann’s favorite parts of his journey at US Fire Apparatus has been getting the opportunity to work in paint prep for Mr. Chris. He quickly discovered how much he enjoyed painting and set a personal goal of becoming a painter himself. Through his hard work, determination, and the support of the team around him, he has accomplished that goal and continues to improve his skills every day.
Outside of work, Kolemann is a skateboarder at heart and has been skating for almost 20 years. More recently, he has also gotten into bass fishing and making his own lures—including carving, building, and airbrushing bass lures.
We’re proud to have Kolemann as part of the US Fire Apparatus team and appreciate the hard work, dedication, and drive he brings every day. We’re excited to see him continue growing and developing his skills with us.
