** The Shootout 2026 RECAP**

It was a VERY successful weekend for EVERY SINGLE Boostin Performance customer! 💪🏼 Every customer car made it thru rounds, but unfortunately the event was called due to weather. 🌧

Jason F / Mr Boost - Reset the Evo 67mm Turbo Record with an 8.12 @ 183MPH and Qualified #1 for Team Mitsubishi in the Street 32 Class. He made it to Round 3 before the event was called.

Andrew G's 1G DSM - Qualified 3rd in the 9.50 Class, and ran a 9.50 the morning of Eliminations. This was his first event after building his car but you wouldn't know it with how composed and focused he was all weekend. Andrew and his brother Max are going to be a team and a force to be reckoned with.

Mike A - Brought his Evo out for the first time this season and jumped right into Qualifying for this event. Finally Getting some seat time he qualified in impressive fashion at #3, went a couple rounds and ended his weekend with a NEW PB of 8.4!!

Jerry M - Overcame some mechanical issues that required him to pull the transmission and clutch in the pits during qualifying. But he was ready to hurt some feelings in Eliminations. He won his rounds and was ready to go all the way to the Finals before the event was called.

RDV2 - Qualified #1 in the Quick 32 Class with a 7.20. Made it to Round 3 before the event was called. Our highlight of the event was our race against Shawn Newswanger's 1G DSM. He's got that car really working and I'd expect to see a 7 second pass from him very soon.

While our team is unpacking from this event, we're also getting ready for the next one in a couple of weeks. Hope to see many of you again at the WI Outlaw Stick Shift Challenge at Great Lakes Dragaway! 🏁
