Responsibilities will include:
• Experience in both Tractor and Trailer PMs and repairs
• Repairs and required preventive maintenance of trailers
• Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose, and perform maintenance on equipment
• Perform safety inspections of equipment and prepares safety documents required by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), company and any other Federal, State or Local regulations
• Interpret work orders and technical manuals
• Repair or replace defective parts, components or systems
• Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that the work meets the manufacturer’s specifications and legislated regulations
• Experience in preventive maintenance of Caterpillar, Cummins & Detroit engines
• Experience with AC and Electrical
• Must be able to handle major repairs
Requirements / Qualifications:
• Experience in trailer PMs and repairs
• Must be able to lift 50lbs
• Must own your own tools
• Pay based upon experience
• Minimum of 1 year in a related field
•Welding and fabrication experience is a plus
Hours:
Monday- Saturday 0800-1700
It may be possible to have every other weekend off depending on schedules and work. Possible road calls after hours
