Come join the FUN & EXCITEMENT! Battleground Speedway is a 3/8 mile high-banked dirt oval located just 4.5 miles North of Interstate 10, on Crosby Lynchburg Rd (Exit # 787) in Highlands Tx. (About 17 miles East of downtown Houston) It's one of the most prestigious dirt tracks in North America. The facility was built in 1983 and throughout the years has hosted some of the largest racing events in

the South. The popular World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series as well as the WOO Late Models, ASCS Sprint Cars, SUPR Late Model Series, and USMTS Modified Touring Series have all been featured events at the track. We host a family friendly environment for all patrons to attend. We are the ONLY local track to allow kids 12 and under in the grandstands for FREE. We seat about 4,000 fans in the grandstands, and have full concessions for everyone to enjoy. We race every Saturday night from the first weekend in March to mid-November. Come out and join us and see some of the fastest, most exciting racing in the South!
