News worth sharing, and a name we’re proud to welcome:
Keven Hoflander is joining the team at Elmer Hare Ford! After decades of taking care of drivers in Higginsville and all over the area, Hoflander Ford will be closing its doors on June 30, 2026. For a small-town dealership, that’s the end of a real legacy. Harold, Keven, and the entire Hoflander family didn’t just sell cars, they showed up for their community, year after year, and that meant something to a whole lot of people. 🚗
When Keven was deciding where to land, he chose us and we don’t take that lightly. Turns out the Hoflander name and the Hare name have always had a lot in common: family-owned, small-town roots, and a belief that buying a vehicle should feel easy, honest, and maybe even a little fun. Our family has sold Fords in Marshall since 1958. The Hoflanders have done it in Higginsville since 1982. Two towns, two families, same handshake-and-mean-it way of doing business.
To everyone who trusted Hoflander Ford over the years, that loyalty doesn’t disappear. It just gets a new address. We’d be honored to serve this community the way Harold, Keven, and the Hoflander family have for so many years.
So come see us, find Keven’s new office, and meet the rest of the family: Matt Hare, Abrea Boedeker, Jake Hare, and Lauren Reyes. The coffee’s on, the door’s open, and there’s a Ford out there with your name on it.
Welcome to the Hare family, Keven. 🎉
