Now Hiring CDL Instructors! Looking for CDL instructors to teach and assist students in classroom, road and yard activities to obtain their CDL license. Part Time and Full Time Positions available. Job Description:

•Prepare and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences

•Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities

•Instruct and monitor students in the use of learning materials and equipment

•Observe and evaluate student's performance and development

•Provide appropriate feedback on work

•Encourage and monitor the progress of individual students

•Update all necessary records accurately and completely as required by laws, policies and school regulations

•Maintain daily attendance sheet and student driving logs

•Manage student behavior in the classroom and on the range by enforcing rules and procedures

•Communicate necessary information regularly to students and colleagues regarding student progress and student needs

Requirements
•Valid Illinois CDL
•Must have held CDL for atleast 3 years
•High School Diploma or GED
•Satisfactory Driving Record
• No Experience Needed
•Background Check with Secretary of State

Attention new or incoming students who haven’t received their Class A or Class B permit:

South Holland DMV will be closed until July 7th because someone in the facility had tested positive for Covid-19.

Out of precaution, please stay home and quarantine yourself for 2 weeks.

Update on the current Covid-19 pandemic:

Star is complying to the presidents request. We will not be in office nor conducting class until May 31st.

Star will keep you updated if anything were to change.

Please stay safe, continue to use proper cleansing techniques and stay in if you DO NOT need to go out. We won’t be able to stop this pandemic, but we can slow it down with the proper steps.

Attention All Star Students:

As you all know, we, as a non essential business, will be closed until May31st. We are taking this matter seriously. Not only are we closed, but we will be doing another thorough cleaning of the entire school before we re-open.

We are also hoping that we will only be closed for the next few weeks so we can get back on schedule. If anything were to change, we will make sure to let you all know.
