First night of the ‘26 Summer Clay Oval Series is in the books. We had a good turnout and some great racing! Congratulations to all this weeks top finishers.

Next week will be the debut of the new 13.5 open sprint class. They will be fast and fun to watch. Be sure to stop and check it out.

We kick off our 2026 Dirt Oval points series Tuesday June 2. Racing starts at 6:00 free for anyone to come at watch. Want to try racing, we have trucks you can try it out.

Track location is Wells Woodland park next to the fire hall on Townline RD.

It’s Race Day! As mentioned tonight is a tuneup race before we start our Summer points series on June 2. Couple things to cover.

1. Sign up sent out last night has been corrected sorry about the confusion.

2. Please get signed up using the link it helps us to be able to get registrations entered early so we can get started on time.

3. Street stock racers, remember the 13.5 juststock combo is the only motor/ESC combo allowed this year with a 25t max pinion gear.

4. Racing starts no later than 6:15, we try for 6:00 but sometimes life happens.

Track is all worked getting some water and will be ready for racing tomorrow. Sign up is posted. If you have a Winged Sprint bring it tomorrow as well. This will be a Non points race. Good chance to get the cars tuned up for next week.

Track is uncovered please stay off for now as the bottom is still very wet and soft.

Warmer temperatures are in the forecast if all goes well we will race Tuesday May 26 non points race. Our first points night of racing will be Tuesday June 2.

Work day May 21 6:00 at the outdoor track. The forecast early next week is not favorable at this time. Watch the page for updates if it’s too wet we will try for the following week.

JR,Lonnie and Jesse were out at the track last Thursday after hauling the Winter equipment from the church. The big track is getting close to thawing out. The areas that are in the shade for most of the day are still a little soft. We need some warmer temperatures!

If someone had some extra time this week the sticks and leaves need to be cleaned off the tarp. We are hopeful to schedule a work night sometime next week, weather dependent.

With the calendar turning the page tomorrow we are getting closer to the outdoor season. Things were drying up very nicely until the nearly 2 inches of rain we had on Monday. Cooler temperatures are forecasted for the next 10 days. Watch the page for upcoming track work days, once the grounds dry up again we will announce some work nights to get ready for the upcoming season.
