A huge thank you to the Citrus County Chamber of Commerce and State Representative JJ Grow for creating opportunities like this. These conversations matter, and building relationships before problems become crises is how communities like Citrus County stay strong, prepared, and heard.

We appreciate leaders willing to discuss proactive solutions for flooding, shoreline erosion, storm impacts, and rapid growth instead of waiting until situations become emergencies.

Also… apparently I look VERY serious in this photo 😂 but I appreciated that Congresswoman Laurel Lee shared the same determination when discussing Florida’s infrastructure challenges and the growing impacts of storms and flooding.

Citrus County truly has an incredible business community, and we are proud to be part of it.

This week, Triton Construction was proud to be involved in multiple Citrus County Chamber of Commerce events alongside so many great local businesses and community leaders.

From networking at the Chamber Mixer at Mertailor’s Mermaid Aquarium Encounter to our Citrus County Chamber of Commerce welcoming and serving meals to our local first responders at the Annual First Responders Appreciation BBQ, it was a great reminder of how strong this community truly is.

We were honored to greet our first responders with pom poms, serve some great hometown BBQ, and show appreciation for the men and women who serve Citrus County every day.

Thank you to the Citrus County Chamber of Commerce for continuing to create meaningful opportunities for local businesses to stay involved, build relationships, and support our community 💕

Proper marine construction is more than driving sheets. It’s understanding water conditions, access limitations, environmental compliance, material handling, alignment tolerances, and maintaining production while protecting the surrounding waterway.

From marine infrastructure to shoreline stabilization, our team continues to support commercial, municipal, and HOA projects throughout Florida with experienced field crews and specialized equipment.

Limited access. Active shoreline failure. No margin for error.

This Leesburg HOA project required controlled ex*****on in a constrained footprint where improper staging or sequencing would have caused further loss.

Scope performed:

• Subgrade stabilization with filter fabric
• Shoreline regrading to correct slope and drainage
• Installation of 180 tons of riprap for long-term erosion control

Access constraints were managed without compromising production or shoreline integrity.

This is the difference between placing rock… and installing a system that actually performs.

Before Triton Construction, our foundation was in years of saturation commercial diving in the Gulf,
working in the exact conditions most contractors have never experienced.
That real world experience carries into every job we take on.
For 11+ years, we’ve delivered marine and foundation work across Florida, working alongside fellow commercial contractors and engineers on projects where precision matters.
Thankful for the relationships we have built and we are just getting started 🔱

If you have a middle or high school student, this is something you don’t want them to miss 👇

The Citrus County Chamber of Commerce & Twistid Arts Initiative are putting on a really great monthly career series right here in our community.

Each month highlights a different industry and brings in local professionals to talk with students in a relaxed, real-world setting. They’ve already covered medical and law enforcement and this month is construction 👷‍♀️

We’re excited to be part of it and show students that construction is so much more than just swinging a hammer. There are so many paths like project management, estimating, engineering, and more.

✔ Free food
✔ Giveaways
✔ Real conversations about real careers

Such a great opportunity to help our kids start thinking about their future early and see what’s possible right here in Citrus County.

Love seeing our community invest in the next generation 💙

Not every student knows exactly what they want to do after high school, and that’s okay.

That’s what Monday Meetup: A Careers & Community Series is all about.

Tomorrow, Monday, April 6, middle and high school students are invited to join us for a relaxed, real-world conversation about careers in construction and the many paths available right here in Citrus County.

Students will hear from local professionals about what the industry is really like, the different types of jobs available, how to get started, and what steps they can take now if this field sparks their interest.

We’re excited to welcome:
🔹 Kyle McKay, McKay Construction and Design
🔹 Kelly Ellis, Triton Construction LLC
🔹 Colleen Strickland, Withlacoochee Technical College

Thank you Marco's Pizza - Crystal River for donating dinner.

Whether your student already has an interest in construction or is just beginning to explore future options, this is a great chance to hear honest insight, ask questions, and learn about local opportunities in a laid-back setting.

Free food, giveaway drawings, and a creative, welcoming environment included.

Twistid Arts Initiative Black Box Studio
Monday, April 6 | 4:00–5:00 PM

Parents, this is a great opportunity for your student to connect career exploration with real people, real pathways, and real possibilities close to home.

This series is a partnership between the Citrus County Chamber of Commerce and Twistid Arts Initiative, bringing career exploration and community connection together one month at a time.

We were grateful to be invited as a panelist to the Business Sustainability, Growth & Resilience Summit in West Volusia this morning.
It was a great conversation centered around erosion control, marine construction, and building more resilient communities across Florida. These are topics we deal with every day, so it was meaningful to be part of a group focused on long-term solutions, not just quick fixes.

Thank you to the DeLand & Greater West Volusia Chamber of Commerce and the County of Volusia for bringing everyone together and creating space for these important discussions.

This summit reminds us of the many great programs the Citrus County Chamber of Commerce offers, bringing people together, sharing knowledge, and staying ahead of the challenges we face.
