Hernando Beach Marina has immediate full-time openings for Marine Mechanic/Boat Technician/Boat Mechanic. This position requires electrical knowledge of repair and maintenance of all types of watercraft. To be successful in this position, an attention to detail, positive attitude, ability to work efficiently and independently, and a strong work ethic are required. Reliable transportation is a must. Responsibilities: • Inspection of boats as they are received • Troubleshoot/repair of boats for customers, dealer stock, and warranty • Electrical and motor work required for pre-delivery inspections before delivery to customers • Maintain a clean and safe working area • Follow procedures with attention to detail • Prioritize and meet deadlines • Communicate with customers in a professional manner • Maintain a positive attitude and be a team player Knowledge/Skills: • Knowledge of safety procedure • Knowledge of outboard motors • Electrical knowledge • Suzuki or Mercury Certified preferred, but not required.

COVID-19 UPDATE: As we continue to monitor COVID-19 we are taking some extra precautions here at the marina. Starting Thursday 4/2 the ship store doors will be locked. If you need something from the store you can call us and we will place the items you need on a table outside the back door. We will be putting boats in and out of the water and scheduling service by appointment only. We will not be renting pontoon boats at this time. The marina will continue to be open Monday-Sunday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. If you have any questions feel free to give us a call at 352-596-2952.
