So Mazda is coming out with a new technology engine design. Its similar to a HCCI (Homogenous Charge Compression Engine). They are releasing the SPCCI (Spark plug Controlled Compression Engine) in 2019/2020. This is one step closer to a full homogenous mixture. That means gasoline/petrol emissions with diesel efficiency. It will be a gamechanger if these engines take off and get support.
